The by election to replace Cllr Lee Narroway, the former IBIS leader and Councillor for Ingleby Barwick West who was excluded from the council, has been called. It will be held on 18th June. I am extremely dissapointed that those who called it did not ensure it was on the same day as the Euro elections (4th June) as this could have saved the council taxpayer thousands of pounds. Whatever their reasons for the delay I am sure all will be revleaed as the campaign progresses!
Local Conservatives will be putting forward a candidate to contest the ward and I look forward to working with him over the coming weeks and months.
