The most likely date for the next General Election is 6th May 2010, exactly one year from today.  With all the government’s troubles it would not be a huge surprise if it happened earlier, but I still feel Gordon Brown will hold on for as long as he possibly can.  That is why the coming European elections on 4th June are so important; this may be our last change to send a clear message to Labour that it is time to go.
