Congratulations to Kat Copeland from Ingleby Barwick on her stunning success in securing a gold medal! It is a real shame though that her gold post-box has been vandalised, the Royal Mail will repaint it straight away (if they haven’t already) and I understand it has already been reported to them by a number of residents, let’s hope this does not happen again and we can properly honour this local athlete who has already achieved so much.
